Social Committee
Updated September 12, 2021
The Social Committee is a group of volunteers who organize gatherings to keep residents engaged and build friendships. It's mandate is to organize events to foster a sense of community throughout the Landmark. Typical activities are movie nights, restaurant outings, wine & food pairings, and potluck suppers. A list of future events is posted in the elevators and on the Social Events page as are Minutes of monthly meetings.
All residents and non-resident owners are encouraged to participate in these events.
We welcome new members to help with planning and preparation, and to contribute new ideas. If you wish to participate, just come to the next meeting and volunteer. We normally meet on the second Tuesday of the month at 10:00 am in the Pool Lounge.
Contact the Chair, Rick Holt (613-532-2413) for further information.

Fitness Activities At The Landmark
In addition to the exercise opportunities offered by the wide range of equipment in our 2nd floor exercise room, scheduled classes are provided for interested residents.
Aquafit Classes
Updated July 4, 2023
Aquafit classes in the pool are scheduled on Tuesday mornings 9-10am.
They are usually offered in 8 week sessions during Fall, Winter and Spring months to any interested resident. The cost is based on the number of participants ( usually $8-$10 per person) payable at the beginning of the session.
We are currently allowed to have a maximum of 10 persons: 9 participants in the pool, plus the instructor on the pool deck.
The current session started July 4/23 and will continue until July 25/23. This summer session was permitted due to the lengthy pool closure during the winter and spring months. We do not anticipate offering Aquafit during summer months in the future.
Dates for the Fall session 2023 will be posted, along with a sign-up sheet, once plans are finalized (probably early September.)
These classes are offered by Judi Cova, a qualified personal fitness trainer and group instructor. The first class is complimentary for new participants so come and try it out!
For information contact : Pat Nekus at 613 544 0068 or Email
